Stuart Bennett
Chair
Has a background in Theatre in Education and has taught across all age ranges. He is currently teaching Drama and Theatre Studies in Further Education. He is a member of the Board of Theatre Centre and the Equity Small-scale Theatre Taskforce.

John Coventon

Jubilee Events Director
He retired in 1999, after thirty years of Drama teaching in Croydon, Cleveland and the ILEA. He studied with Dorothy Heathcote at Newcastle University and was Schools’ Drama Tutor at the ILEA Cockpit Theatre and Arts Workshop. He missed Drama teaching so much, he returned to it in 2002, taking a part time post at Royal Russell School, Croydon.

 

Carol Olivier
Primary Schools Rep
As a primary teacher and deputy head who uses Drama across the primary curriculum, she is also on the Board of Directors of the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith
.

Win Bayliss

Secretary
A founder member of London Drama, she was Head of English at Waverley School before becoming the first advisory teacher for use of tape recording at the Inner London Drama and Tape Centre in Holborn. She has built up the book service from a single book to a range of more than 150 titles (see our book page) and organises extra fund raising through 'Friends of London Drama'.

Sally Brett

She has taught in London schools for many years and studied for her MA at Central School of Speech and Drama. She teaches at Churchfield Special School and has run several well-received courses in managing challenging behaviour through Drama.

Jane Burr

She has been a Drama teacher in and around London for 13 years. She has helped out at London Drama in recent years to promote the association to 'recruit' new members particularly in the Croydon and Bromley areas, as well as assisting with INSET organisation. She is currently taking a small break from teaching to be a 'mum' – as well as devoting more time to the work of London Drama.

Chris Brassington

Secondary Rep
He has taught drama in a variety of schools from Rochdale to Singapore. He went to desmond Jones and the Poor School and obtained his PGCE at Midlesex. He is currently completing his MA at Central.
