Behaviour Strategies to Raise Attainment in Drama (Members)

This course, led by Suzanne Parrott and Ruth Kellegher of ACTiv-8, will demonstrate in a practical strategies to turn potentially negative behaviour into positive behaviour that will enhance attainment in drama. It is designed to be applicable to both Primary and Secondary settings.

Suzanne Parrott has extensive experience in middle and senior leadership, recently working as part of an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Leadership Team taking an inner city secondary school from Satisfactory to Outstanding with results rising from 53% to 92% 5 A*-C at GCSE in 3 years. She trained professionally as an actor before becoming a teacher and her work includes successful performances in the West end and international tours. She is a Drama Specialist and Education Consultant for ACTiv-8.

Ruth Kellegher has worked extensively in schools through ACTiv-8, Stagecoach, Bigfoot and Brit Kids. She trained as an actor at Central Schol of Speech and Drama and has worked as a TA in schools.
