In this course Linda Hall will outline and talk through the practical implications of the New Ofsted Framework through a Drama lens. She will explore what we mean by an 'Ambitious Curriculum’ and how to ensure that Skills and Knowledge are intimately connected. A skill is a capacity to perform, drawing on what is known.

Linda Hall has been a Drama Teacher for 10 years, working in challenging inner London schools. Roles include Edexcel Examiner for Alevel and GCSE, PGCE Mentor, Head of Drama, Head of Faculty and SLT for the More Able. Soon to be Head of Performance at Sir John Cass Redcoat in Tower Hamlets, Linda is passionate about the Arts and she understands, only too well, the demands and struggles of a drama teacher: how their time is very precious and how they daily battle to make the Arts valued in an Ebacc driven world.

Date: Wednesday 30th October 2019: 6-8pm. [NB: changed from 6.30-8.30pm] Venue: Old Diorama, Drummond Street NW1 3FE (map).
